Hi, I’m Jamie, It’s nice to meet you…

Jamie Humphrey, LCSW is an EMDR therapist in San Jose, CA specializing in the treatment of trauma, eating disorders, depression and anxiety.

I’m a therapist and licensed clinical social worker serving the greater San Jose area. I entered the helping field after embarking on my own healing journey during my college years. My lived experience instilled an immense amount of compassion and purpose in me. I absolutely love my job and I am honored by those who entrust me with their stories.

I attended the University of Southern California for my Master’s degree in Social Work with specializations in Mental Health and Systems of Recovery. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and extensive post-graduate training in treating trauma, eating disorders, anxiety and depression.

Since entering the mental health field in 2011, I have worked in a wide variety of settings including private practice, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment programs, the emergency room and a high school. I’ve created a program serving teens and their mental health as they transition from adolescence to adulthood, as well as trained numerous organizations on topics such as implementing trauma-informed care and identifying eating disorders in general mental health care settings.

When I’m not working as a therapist, you’ll catch me hanging out with my partner and son or curling up with a good book. I also love sunny days at the beach, hiking our mountain trails and every dog I meet.
